The four walls of academics is a unique phase of existence in the large expanse of the human race. Under the direction of the teachers, students are provided learning spaces and an environment in an institution called “School”. Sending a child to school requires a lot of finances, the child goes through academic learning for a specified number of years, which takes place in a classroom. The purpose of creating a school is open-ended, some believe school is designed to create workers, who have acquired skills within a period and have been certified to perform available jobs. Whereas, some believe it is designed to help in developing students’ capacities for reaching their personal goals, thereby aiding in the development of their immediate environment and the society or world at large.

   In an environment whereby schooling has been one of the basic requirements of attaining prime feats, its importance cannot be overemphasized. Therefore schooling products (graduates) should be given proper and adequate attention. For a student to do well at school, three major factors are responsible for his success; his or her parents, the teacher(s), and his attitude towards schooling. Situations whereby parent does not give room for their children to think on their own, thereby broadening their horizon, creates a taskmaster impression about the parent on the mind of the children. Their personal goals to change the society and have their dreams come true will be subjected to the compelling action of the parent. But if the relationship between the parent and children is firmly established, the parent should support the children in having their dreams come true by sending them to school, in order to make their dreams much more realistic.

   However, the teacher plays a vital role as well, by opening the mind of the students to a wider range of information, sharpening their motif positively, to attain high feats in their academic life and also life after school. After class assignments, tests, and examinations, the teacher grades the students based on what each of them wrote down individually, but in a situation whereby a few students tend to get low grades, that does not picture them to be dullards, and that does not mean the probability of such students reaching high feats in life is slim. It now depends on the apt of the teacher, on how to deal with such issues. Just to ensure those students don’t lose their self-confidence, the teacher should be there for them, making them realize, they can still make things up and become the best they have ever desired to be.

   As for the students, it is quite important to stay focused no matter what, they dictate whatever goes on in their own lives more than any other one around them, and acquiring knowledge as well from colleagues aside education, opens them to more opportunities.
